Introduction of diesel engine

Diesel engine is a kind of internal combustion engine. Diesel is ejected into cylinder and combined with air. At the meantime, it burns and transforms thermal energy to thermal engine. While fuel gas burns, the gas inflates and pushes plungers to move in a linear motion. To rotate the crankshaft by crankshaft and connecting rod mechanism, the diesel engine outputs mechanical work.

The structure of diesel engine usually is formed of the following systems:

Engine body, fuel system, crankshaft and connecting rod mechanism, inflow and exhaust system, lubrication system, cooling system and control system. Due to the difference of the number of cylinders, cylinder arrangement and type of cooling, the structure of different type of engines is not the same.
